UN Peacekeepers and Haitian Police PatrolEarthquake Commemoration Gathering

By Dady Chery, Haiti Chery. Paramilitary troops that are loyal to Martelly have been trained in Rafael Correa’s Ecuador. These troops are meant to be the kernel of a new Tontons Macoutes. Officially, they go by the inoffensive title of “military engineering corps.” The regime says they are based in Haiti’s Artibonite region, although they are disguised as trainees in the Police Nationale d’Haiti (PNH). USAID: Dictator’s Little Helper

USAIDd448x281

By Dady Chery, Haiti Chery | News Junkie Post. USAID’s goals were originally to diminish the threat of communism and open new markets for the US; these have expanded to include: developing “countries’ policies and institutions” and even “rebuilding government.”

Paramilitary Gangs Join UN Force in Preying on Haitian Population
Dady Chery

By Dady Chery, Haiti Chery. It is hardly worthwhile to entertain some notion that the U.N. force MINUSTAH and the new paramilitary gangs are somehow at odds with each other. Both are supported by the U.S. and France, and both prey on the Haitian population and National Police. MINUSTAH’s abuses are given as the reason why a “Haitian army” is needed to defend the national sovereignty, and the threat of abuse by paramilitaries serves to justify MINUSTAH’s continued stay. UPDATE: June 11, the supposed Haitian army is quietly inaugurated as the “Agency for National Security.”

A Case for Baby Doc, Sweet Micky, Wycleff, Sean, and Clintons Being FaceBook Friends | Baby Doc, Sweet Micky, Wycleff, Sean, and les Clinton seraient-ils des amis FaceBook?

By Dady Chery, Haiti Chery. Today Investigative Magistrate Carves Jean ruled that former dictator Jean Claude Duvalier (Baby Doc to his friends) should not be tried for human rights violations but, rather, for corruption and the misappropriation of public funds. Every human rights organization is crying fowl and blaming the decision on “politics!” I blame it on Facebook friendships. (English | French)

When a piece of news about Haiti spreads like wildfire throughout the mainstream press, one may be certain that these news are meant to manipulate rather than inform. In the following two articles, we find Martelly begging the United Nations to keep MINUSTAH in Haiti on one hand, and threatening to create his own Tontons Macoutes/FRAPH on the other. By Dady Chery, Haiti Chery. Michel Martelly’s inauguration on May 14, 2011 should have brought into effect a new US-written constitution for Haiti, with amendments of over one third of all the Articles in the country’s 1987 Constitution. The “amended constitution” was assumed to have died a quiet death because of loud objections by the members of the parliament who pointed out that a published draft did not concur with their discussions.By Dady Chery, Axis of Logic. As Inauguration Nears, Martelly Prepares Duvalier Amnesty and Political Offensive

A Swiss law nicknamed “Lex Duvalier”, that took effect on February 1, 2011 and used Duvalier as its test case, requires Switzerland to return the moneys ill-gotten by dictators under certain circumstances. If Duvalier keeps running freely around Haiti and ultimately gets pardoned, he also gets a cool U.S. $6.2 million, courtesy of Hillary Clinton and her stooge Michel Martelly.By Kim Ives, Haiti Analysis | Editorial comment by Dady Chery, Haiti Chery.
